places in chicago that i have tried, and can vet:

• a cup of joes (#supportlatinebusinesses, also yummy drink selection but i really enjoyed their mazapan latte and their toxica drink which was essentially cafe de olla and horchata)
• wormhole (the kindest and most beautiful baristas. specialty drink also so yummy; it was a fig matcha when i went)
• build coffee (the loveliest setup, outdoor area in the summer is so lovely)
• robust coffee (been once, but i really liked the vibes and it's on a cute little corner. the exposed ceiling was cool and the drinks were good from what i remember. i think maybe they specialize in like lemonade of some sort?)

drink ideas:

• iced mint americano
• coconut white chocolate mocha, hot or iced is good
• iced peach chai (peachai? fun naming opportunities)

flavor combinations:

• brown sugar and cherry (had this in an iced chai with oatmilk on 2/9/26 and it was delightful)
• white chocolate and any fruit (i will stand by this until the day i can no longer stand)
